It seems expensive but it takes very little (the size of a pea) to get a good result. The granuals are very fine so you can be as gentle or aggressive as you like with it. My skin feels like baby skin after using it plus you can really feel the difference. At first, I used it on damp skin but found I like it better when I use on my skin when it's dry. It makes my skin feel smooth plus perfect! I bought it to use with my Clarsonic but I think this works so well that I don't need the machine with it. That makes it perfect for travel! I think one reason it works so well is because the grit it so very fine that it doesn't make my pores bigger plus it feels like it's polishing my skin.
