5.0 out of 5 stars Works for me - Doesn't dry me out, August 20, 2010
This review is from: Burt's Bees Acne Targeted Spot Treatment, .26-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3) (Health plus Beauty)
I have occasional breakouts of a lot of little pimples that I use this for. When you dab it on, it reacts plus feels like you're using toner with the stinging. Though, I wouldn't use anything but a finger to apply the stuff since you'll likely waste a whole lot on a q-tip. It just requires a little patient dabbing.

And yes, like others have said, it does have quite a distinctive smell but it does fade so it's not like I have to walk around at work smelling like it. (my dogs actually love this plus always wanna lick my face)

I like that it has a lower percentage of salicylic acid than most other products so it doesn't dry me out while it works on the breakouts. It's not an immediate overnight fix, but I can definitely tell that it speeds up the clearing up process when I use it morning plus night.

5.0 out of 5 stars Smelly but effective, October 15, 2009
This review is from: Burt's Bees Acne Targeted Spot Treatment, .26-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3) (Health plus Beauty)
I 100% disagree with the reviews for this product. I have bad acne on my chin plus although this product's smell takes getting used to, it truly worked on my acne. I may get an occasional pimple but I blame that on hormones plus outside dirt/oil not just the spot treatment. There is a cleanser for the shower that really assists in cleaning your skin. I didn't feel oily or greasy when I applied the spot treatment.

4.0 out of 5 stars Oh Burt's Bees how I love you, April 18, 2013
This review is from: Burt's Bees Acne Targeted Spot Treatment, .26-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 3) (Health plus Beauty)
At the beginning of 2013, I decided that I was going to try plus go natural plus clean up the beauty products I was using. In December, I was using LUSH products, which I thought were natural (turns out, most of them aren't at all), plus they worked for awhile but ended up making me break out after using them for a few weeks. During Christmas Break, I didn't wanna see anyone or take any pictures because I was that ashamed of my face. I have NEVER broken out so bad plus it seemed like no matter what I did, nothing worked. I desperately searched for natural products plus after stumbling upon a website called GoodGuide.com, I found this spot treatment by Burt's Bees. This was highly rated on the site plus, because I love Burt's Bees, I thought it was a great idea to start using it. I checked it out on Amazon plus it was also highly reviewed-I was sold. I went to my local Wal-Mart plus picked this baby up for about $10. I thought the price was a little steep for a spot treatment, I was used to... Read more
