I am 43 plus live in a dry climate. I used to use Burt's Bees Carrot Day creme, which I love. But it has wheat germ oil. I am gluten intolerant plus needed a new moisturizer. I have very sensitive skin plus can not tolerate synthetic perfumes. I was hesitant after reading the reviews that described the scent, but I love the scent. It is natural, not too strong, plus very pleasant. It doesn't bother me at all. This creme is very moisturizing, yet it soaks in beautifully plus quickly. I use it both day plus night. It isn't quite as rich as the Burt's bees product I previously used, but I absolutely love it! My face feels soft plus elastic plus never greasy. I don't know what I'm missing, but I absolutely hated it. It didn't provide much moisture at all...maybe it's ok for normal skin, but it certainly isn't good for dry skin. And beyond that, the smell was absolutely nauseating. Even my husband asked what I put on my skin that smelled so horrible; he said it smelled like some kind of medication that teens use for acne. I used one pack a few times, thinking I would get used to it, but it never happened. I wish I could send the 2 unopened tubes to someone who would use it because to me it's garbage. |
