Okay, so I first bought this Amusing product from Sephora over Christmas break... I absolutely LOVED it. It was so light yet creamy plus brightened my dull complexion while moisturizing it at the same time. It was perfect for my combination/oily skin. I didn't wanna buy it again though because $55 for a face cream is a bit steep for a college student, yet I was pleasantly surprised when I found out I could buy it off of amazon for $20 cheaper!!Cheaper in this case though, didn't mean better. Instead of getting the light plus fluffily cream textured moisturizer that I loved so much, I basically got soup. Bliss soup. It was so WATERY. Like I don't even know how else to describe it.. You could tip the container over plus the product would basically just spill out like a glass of water. I thought somehow the product got melted plus overheated or something, so being the ever hopeful person I was, I stuck it in the fridge for about 12 hours to see if it would regain its original... This isn't what I ordered. I have ordered this product before from bliss world directly plus it was not watered down like this was when I received it. The safety seal was also broken before even opened. I compared this product to the one I received from bliss world plus this product was watery, plus smelled differently than original product. I was too scared to put it on my face. The product I received is very watery; not like the picture at all. It's about the consistency of shampoo or dish soap, very liquid (if I tipped the jar, it would pour out). It smelled fine, but isn't what I would call a cream at all, maybe a lotion. I don't know if I received bad product, or if it's always like this. I contacted the seller with this information, plus they told me that they maintain fresh stock (from the supplier), so they didn't think it was a shelf-life issue. They also directed me to return the product if not satisfied, which I intend to do. I'd be interested in what other customers might say about this. I love the light weight creams (the ones that are more like a gel), but this is definitely not that, it's a liquid, plus I just can't get over the feeling that the product I received was defective in some way. |
