This is the best damn acne medicine out there. As a teenage my skin was so bad I used to pop pimples as a pass-time, but always figured when I become an adult I will outgrow acne plus have clear skin like all adults. However when I turned 21yrs old, plus still had acne, I thought to myself "Well... I still look young, I'm sure when I'm in my mid-20's pimples will be the thing of the past". On my 30th birthday, instead of blowing out 30 candles on a b-day cake I was counting 13 pimples on my face. By then I've tried ProActiv, prescriptions from dermatologists, expensive facials at spas, baking soda (home remedy), witch hazel....plus yes even baby piss (hey...I was REALLY DESPERATE). This is a skin product that gives instant gratification in that the pores are emptied of small blackheads plus any peeling debris plus there is immediate smoothing. I believe that the product works long term also by helping with dark spots. My skin on my neck feels burnt plus gets raw if I use the Daily Peel there but that is OK, my face is what I bought it for. I use Retin-A plus my skin is too sensitive to use the "Daily" peel more than once or twice a week but that is all I need. Not using this daily, I prefer the packettes because the jar lasts so long that the last few would dry out. Sunscreen is good for everyone but mandatory if you use products like this. I am 60 plus still have oily skin! I wish products like this were around when I was younger plus was troubled by constant breakouts. There are so many skin products out there one just gets confused as to what to try so I hope this review helps. |
